Human activity detection in indoor spaces via WLAN network
Sekanina, Tomáš ; Vašina, Petr (referee) ; Miloš, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor thesis represents possibilities of use WLAN network and standard IEEE 802.11n for object or human detection in a room with different scenarios. Bachelor thesis includes a theoretical description of WLAN network and family of WLAN standards IEEE 802.11 with detailed focus on standard IEEE 802.11n and its physical layer. Attention is also paid to the wave propagation inside buildings. It also includes description of measuring Wi-Fi INTEL 5300 NIC, CSI Tool 802.11n and controlling measuring NIC in operating system Linux. In practical part is demonstrated analysis of high-throughput packets using standard 802.11n. Results of measurement of object and human detection in a room are exported to programming language MATLAB and there are analyzed. Results of experiments are discussed in conclusion of bachelor thesis.
Impact of CSI activities on practice in primary schools in Prague
Oftnerová, Marina ; Kitzberger, Jindřich (advisor) ; Trunda, Jiří (referee)
The Czech School Inspectorate (CSI) is the only institution responsible for external evaluation of educational system in the Czech Republic. Its main purpose is improving the quality of education provided. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe different CSI's activities and to find out which of them and how influence practice of primary schools in Prague. The results of the analysis of questionnaires, interviews with some headteachers and Deputy Chief School Inspector's comment show that majority of headteacher respondents act upon school inspection report, take inspectors' advice into consideration and follow them. The CSI also influences schools indirectly:  by setting Criteria for Evaluation of Conditions, Course and Outcomes of Education  by stakeholder pressure  by publishing of numerous outputs  by means of InspIS SET system The research shows that most headteacher respondents consider school inspections to be important for them. KEYWORDS CSI, external evaluation, primary school, headmaster, managing school, quality school, education quality improvement

Quality School Evaluation by its Founder
Rybová, Anna ; Chvál, Martin (advisor) ; Urbanová, Eva (referee)
The bachelor thesis Evaluation of school quality by its founder determines activities that are implemented at the level of regional education by founders of primary schools, mainly public schools, when assessing the quality of the schools. In the Czech Republic, the main authority for assessing of the quality conditions, progress and results of education is the Czech School Inspectorate. Its national competence is enshrined in Act No. 561/2004 Coll., on pre-primary, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education. The evaluation criteria for individual grades are approved by the Minister of Education each year. In 2009-2012, a national project called "The Way to Quality" took place. It helped schools to implement internal evaluation - self-evaluation. Recommended criteria for school evaluation for founders were one of the outputs of the project. A research study of the bachelor thesis showed that founders evaluate activities of the headmaster to determine his financial reward or sanction, for example. The evaluation criteria for the headmaster's activities are not publicly accessible, unlike the schools evaluation which must be published in advance as stated in the Education Act. Publicly accessible documents on school evaluation methodology were given by two founders. They are the city...
